Biography
A Principal Lecturer in Veterinary Services Strategy in the Equine Department at Hartpury University, UK and Visiting Academic at Harper Adams University, UK, Dr Alison Pyatt teaches professional practice and interdisciplinary working skills to animal health professionals. Her research interests lie in customer-centric service quality provision and co-production of services in the veterinary sector both in the UK and internationally, with a particular interest in Sub-Saharan Africa. Alison is the current Vice Chair of the Veterinary Pharmacy Association, and is a veterinary pharmacy consultant. Dr Pyatt acts as an educational consultant for postgraduate course delivery at the University of Namibia, and as Trainer for the successful veterinary customer experience business, Onswitch.
Session Synopses
With a PhD in large animal coproduction, Alison has studied the relationship between the SQP and the farmer in great detail. In this session she will share the results of her research and impart practical tips and techniques to help SQPs build the trust with clients that’s so essential to ensure a strong customer experience.
